M.L. Peekthong Thongyai, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), outlined OR’s business strategy, which focuses on pursuing new business opportunities to meet consumers’ evolving lifestyles and further strengthen the OR Ecosystem. Despite various challenges, Thailand’s tourism industry continues to show positive signs, with further growth potential following the government’s efforts to stimulate travel alongside enhanced safety standards aimed at building confidence among both domestic and international tourists. Phuket, in particular, remains one of the key destinations for both domestic and international tourists. OR operates an aviation fuel business, providing aviation refueling services in accordance with the international JIG Standard to more than 30 domestic and international airlines.

Ms. Rajsuda Rungsiyakull, Senior Executive Vice President, Special Services 1 at OR, revealed that in April 2026, OR signed a joint venture agreement with Centara Hotels & Resorts. Under the partnership, OR holds a 49% stake and Centara holds 51% to develop Budget Hotels on high-potential sites both within and outside PTT Station premises. Leveraging the extensive PTT Station network located along major routes nationwide and offering convenient access, the hotels will provide comfortable and accessible accommodation options tailored to the needs of modern travelers. The first phase will pilot six model hotels in high-potential locations, including Phuket, Kanchanaburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Songkhla (Hat Yai), Chonburi, and Bangkok. The hotels will serve tourists, road travelers, and business travelers seeking convenient accommodation along their journeys. Each room will provide essential amenities and incorporate Friendly Design throughout the hotel, from entrances to guest rooms, promoting inclusivity and accessibility for customers with diverse physical needs, including people with disabilities, older adults, pregnant women, and children. The hotels will also provide parking facilities and 24-hour CCTV surveillance, with key highlights including travel convenience, safety, cleanliness, and excellent value, with rates starting from THB 800 to 1,300 per night. In addition, the hotels will be designed with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. The hotels are expected to gradually open in 2027-2028, with a target of expanding the network to 50 locations by 2031. This initiative will further expand OR’s business and transform PTT Stations from mere “pit stops” for refueling or having a coffee into safe and reliable overnight accommodation destinations nationwide. It will maximize the use of existing sites to create added value, convert existing service users into overnight guests, and generate new revenue streams from the existing customer base, while also supporting the recovery of Thailand’s tourism industry.

“All these efforts reflect the ‘OR Term Okad Dee Dee Dee’ concept, which aims to foster a ‘Good Environment’ through the use of clean energy and circular economy principles, alongside building a ‘Good Community’ by distributing income to local entrepreneurs and improving people’s quality of life inclusively. This approach drives ‘Good Growth’, fostering stable and shared growth together with partners and society. It underscores that every service within the OR Ecosystem, from aviation fuel and Budget Hotels to every stop at a PTT Station, is more than just a place to pause along the journey. It is the starting point of a journey that creates value for people, communities, and the environment alike,” M.L. Peekthong concluded.

Mr. Suchart Ramas, Director General of OR, together withMr. Eakkachai Tangsangiumwisai, Manager of Retail Oil Marketing and Strategy, PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR) represented OR in receiving the “Diamond” Award from Dr. Sarawut Kaewtathip, Director General of the Department of Energy Business, at the Energy Complex, Ministry of Energy, as part of the DOEB Fuel Management Award, organized by the Department of Energy Business.

OR’s PTT Stations have met the Department of Energy Business’s criteria across three areas: fuel quality management, sustainability, and economics. In terms of fuel quality management, PTT station maintains standards for fuel quality control throughout the supply chain, with fuel quality testing conducted at oil terminals. Mobile Labs, serving as mobile fuel quality testing units, are also deployed to continuously inspect service stations nationwide, helping build consumer confidence. In terms of sustainability, PTT Station promotes the use of an oil pipeline transportation system, an eco-friendly mode of transportation that helps reduce the risk of road accidents. In terms of economics, PTT Station implements measures to provide consumers with benefits throughout the year, including the 24-hour Self-Serve refueling service via the blueplus+ application. More than 2,000 PTT stations have achieved a “Very Good” rating under the assessment. Consumers can identify certified stations by the bronze-colored “Fuel Quality Control System Certified” sticker at the stations.

The DOEB Fuel Management Award aims to promote collaboration and strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors. The award seeks to enhance the effective oversight of fuel quality at service stations, promote sustainable business practices with an eco-friendly oil pipeline transportation system, and encourage measures and innovations that deliver benefits to customers. OR’s achievement in winning the award reflects its commitment to conducting business in accordance with established standards and its continued cooperation with the Department of Energy Business. This achievement underscores OR’s commitment to supporting the efficient and sustainable development of the energy sector, particularly the fuel business, while strengthening consumer confidence in fuel quality.

Mr. Kraipit Premmani, Executive Vice President of Lifestyle Business at PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), together with OR executives and executives from Bashundhara Group, officially opened the first Café Amazon outlet in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Dhaka. The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of H.E. Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Bangladesh. This marks another significant milestone for OR in expanding Café Amazon into international markets and creating new growth opportunities in one of South Asia’s large consumer markets.

The Café Amazon outlet in Bangladesh has been designed to embody the brand’s identity under the “Lifestyle Oasis” concept, which is a welcoming space where customers can recharge and unwind from the fast pace of everyday life. The design blends Café Amazon’s signature green with natural materials such as wood and brick, complemented by white, cream, gray, and brown tones to create a warm, airy, and contemporary atmosphere.

On the product front, Café Amazon has developed its menu to cater to the preferences and tastes of Bangladeshi consumers while showcasing Thai identity through special offerings such as Brown Sugar Peanut Frappe, which combines the rich and nutty flavor of peanuts with brown sugar, and Mango Sticky Rice Frappe, inspired by mango sticky rice, one of Thailand’s internationally renowned desserts. The use of mango, a popular fruit among Bangladeshi consumers, the offering reflects the cultural connections and consumer preferences between the two countries through the coffee-drinking experience. Furthermore, Café Amazon offers The Performance Series, a range of beverages developed for health-conscious consumers and fitness enthusiasts. The series includes Choco Banana Build, Oat Matcha Boost, and Hazelnut Coffee Burst, available exclusively at outlets located in fitness facilities to cater to the lifestyles and needs of target customer groups in each location.

This entry into the Bangladeshi market is the result of a collaboration between OR and Bashundhara Group, one of the country’s leading business groups. The partnership combines OR’s strengths in the Café Amazon brand and its expertise in coffee shop operations with Bashundhara Group’s understanding of the local consumer market and strong business network. Together, the two companies aim to develop and expand Café Amazon in line with consumer needs, drive sustainable long-term growth in Bangladesh, one of South Asia’s high-potential markets, and create new opportunities for Café Amazon’s international expansion.

In 2026, OR plans to open a total of eight Café Amazon outlets in Bangladesh, including Bashundhara Head Office, Bashundhara City Shopping Complex, Gold’s Gym, Golf Driving Range, Sports City, Trampoline Park, and JCX. The expansion targets high-potential locations and caters to diverse lifestyles, broadening customer reach and laying a strong foundation for Café Amazon’s growth in Bangladesh.

OR reported first-half 2026 sales and service revenue of THB 381,793 million, up THB 32,205 million or 9.2% year-on-year. In the second quarter of 2026, sales and service revenue amounted to THB 205,667 million, an increase of THB 29,542 million or 16.8% from the previous quarter, driven by growth across all business groups. The Company also continued to expand its EV and Lifestyle businesses amid volatility in the global economy and energy markets.

M.L. Peekthong Thongyai, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), revealed that in the second quarter of 2026, OR recorded sales and service revenue of THB 205,667 million, up THB 29,542 million or 16.8% quarter-on-quarter across all business groups. EBITDA stood at THB 53 million, down THB 7,047 million or 99.3% from the previous quarter. Although overall revenue increased, EBITDA was pressured by several factors, including slowing energy demand and heightened energy price volatility amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Meanwhile, the Lifestyle business group continued to grow its EBITDA. During the quarter, Café Amazon sold 117 million cups, an increase of 5 million cups or 4.5%, marking its highest sales volume on record.

For the first half of 2026, OR recorded sales and service revenue of THB 381,793 million, up THB 32,205 million or 9.2% compared to same period last year, driven by higher average selling prices resulting from the conflict in the Middle East, despite a decline in sales volume. EBITDA amounted to THB 7,153 million, down 35.2% year-on-year, mainly due to lower average gross profit per litre in the Mobility and Global business groups. Meanwhile, the Lifestyle business group improved, supported by higher gross profit from both food and beverage retail and other retail businesses.

Recently, OR signed an Expansion Partnership Agreement with The Minor Food Group Public Company Limited to expand four key restaurant brands, including The Pizza Company, Dairy Queen, The Steak & More, and Chiho Ramen, within OR service stations and commercial areas. The initiative aims to develop these locations into Food & Lifestyle Destinations that cater to modern consumer behaviour and enhance the OR Ecosystem. For its international operations, OR has progressively restructured its investments to improve efficiency, including the dissolution of non-operating subsidiaries in Lao PDR and Vietnam in accordance with its portfolio management plan without affecting its core businesses.

OR continues to drive its long-term growth strategy through investments in future businesses, accelerating the expansion of the EV Station PluZ charging network alongside the development of digital platforms to meet modern consumer needs. To reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, the Company has increased the share of energy transported through pipeline systems through its investment in Thai Pipeline Network Company Limited (“TPN”), enhancing logistics efficiency. OR also promotes environmentally friendly packaging by increasing the proportion of recycled plastic resin in lubricant packaging, helping reduce the use of virgin plastic by 1,800 tonnes per year. In its Lifestyle business, OR opened the world’s first Café Amazon Experience flagship store in Bangkok’s Ari neighbourhood, elevating the customer experience and expanding the brand into a Lifestyle Destination. OR continues to operate under the concept of “Empowering All Toward Inclusive Growth” through key initiatives such as the Thai Det Project, which supports more than 500 local entrepreneurs and community enterprises by increasing opportunities, generating income, and raising product standards. Café Amazon for Chance creates sustainable employment and income opportunities for persons with disabilities, older persons, and vulnerable groups.

OR also reaffirmed its leadership in sustainability by being selected as a member of the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices (DJ BIC) Emerging Markets Index for the third consecutive year. The Company received the highest score in the Retailing industry from S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), reflecting its commitment to sustainable business practices under the “OR Term Okad Dee Dee Dee” or “OR Empowering Opportunity for 3 Good Dimensions” concept, which seeks to create economic value alongside sustainable value for society, communities, and the environment.

“Although this quarter’s performance was pressured by global economic factors, volatility in global energy markets, and rising operating costs, OR continues to invest in future businesses, including clean energy, digital platforms, and food and beverage businesses, which form an important foundation for long-term growth. Today’s strategic investments will strengthen OR’s ability to generate sustainable returns for shareholders while creating value for consumers, society, and the country in the future,” M.L. Peekthong concluded.

———————————————————-

PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR) and The Minor Food Group Public Company Limited (Minor Food) have signed an Expansion Partnership Agreement to transform the PTT station network and OR’s commercial spaces into Food & Lifestyle Destinations, while strengthening the OR Ecosystem to better serve consumers’ diverse lifestyles.

The partnership brings together OR’s leadership in service station networks and lifestyle ecosystems with Minor Food’s expertise as a leading restaurant company, underpinned by its strengths in brand development, food innovation, restaurant operations, and a nationwide supply chain. Together, the two companies aim to deliver high-quality, accessible dining experiences and create lasting value for consumers and communities alike.

As part of the collaboration, OR and Minor Food will expand the footprint of four leading restaurant brands—The Pizza Company, Dairy Queen, The Steak & More, and Chiho Ramen, Minor Food’s newest brand developed and launched in collaboration with OR. The four brands will be rolled out across the PTT station network and OR’s commercial spaces nationwide, with a shared goal of more than 150 outlets by 2030.

OR’s food business is operated through Foodellus Co., Ltd. (Foodellus), which was established to spearhead OR’s food business. Foodellus plans to invest more than THB 2 billion by 2030 to further develop OR’s food business into another key growth driver while reinforcing OR’s lifestyle business for long-term growth.

Mr. Kraipit Premmani, Senior Executive Vice President, Lifestyle Business, said that “OR aims to transform PTT stations and its commercial spaces into comprehensive Food & Lifestyle Destinations that go beyond service stations. Our partnership with Minor Food marks an important step toward realizing this vision by combining OR’s network of more than 2,400 PTT stations nationwide with Minor Food’s expertise in restaurant development and operations. Together, we aim to create Food & Lifestyle Destinations that are accessible to consumers in every community, delivering quality food, trusted standards, and exceptional customer experiences across the country.” This partnership will further strengthen the OR Ecosystem by expanding the diversity of products and services while transforming PTT stations into Food & Lifestyle Destinations that serve travelers, EV users, and local communities. Consumers will enjoy greater access to delicious, consistently high-quality, and value-for-money food, whether they are traveling in major cities or living in communities across the country, in line with OR’s “Empowering All toward Inclusive Growth” vision and its “Triple G’s” philosophy—Good Community, Good Environment, and Good Growth—particularly through the Good Growth dimension. The partnership also reflects the two companies’ shared commitment to delivering exceptional and sustainable consumer experiences.

Mr. William Heinecken, Chairman of Minor International Public Company Limited (MINT), stated, “Our partnership with OR goes beyond expanding our store network. It is about creating a new growth platform for Thailand’s food business by bringing together the complementary strengths and expertise of two companies. Minor Food takes pride in being one of Thailand’s leading restaurant companies, not only through trusted brands such as The Pizza Company, Dairy Queen, and The Steak & More, but also through our expertise in developing new brands, driving food innovation, and operating restaurants efficiently. Chiho Ramen, developed in collaboration with OR, exemplifies the potential for creating restaurant concepts that cater to consumer behavior and are well-suited to PTT station locations. Combined with our strong nationwide supply chain and operational capabilities, these strengths, together with OR’s network of more than 2,400 PTT stations, will enable us to expand efficiently while delivering quality food and exceptional experiences to consumers across the country. I believe this partnership will not only transform service stations in Thailand into Food & Lifestyle Destinations but also serve as a model for strategic collaboration between two organizations to create shared value, elevate the consumer experience, and drive the sustainable long-term growth of Thailand’s food business.”
