Mr. Suchart Ramas, Director General of OR, together withMr. Eakkachai Tangsangiumwisai, Manager of Retail Oil Marketing and Strategy, PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR) represented OR in receiving the “Diamond” Award from Dr. Sarawut Kaewtathip, Director General of the Department of Energy Business, at the Energy Complex, Ministry of Energy, as part of the DOEB Fuel Management Award, organized by the Department of Energy Business.

OR’s PTT Stations have met the Department of Energy Business’s criteria across three areas: fuel quality management, sustainability, and economics. In terms of fuel quality management, PTT station maintains standards for fuel quality control throughout the supply chain, with fuel quality testing conducted at oil terminals. Mobile Labs, serving as mobile fuel quality testing units, are also deployed to continuously inspect service stations nationwide, helping build consumer confidence. In terms of sustainability, PTT Station promotes the use of an oil pipeline transportation system, an eco-friendly mode of transportation that helps reduce the risk of road accidents. In terms of economics, PTT Station implements measures to provide consumers with benefits throughout the year, including the 24-hour Self-Serve refueling service via the blueplus+ application. More than 2,000 PTT stations have achieved a “Very Good” rating under the assessment. Consumers can identify certified stations by the bronze-colored “Fuel Quality Control System Certified” sticker at the stations.

The DOEB Fuel Management Award aims to promote collaboration and strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors. The award seeks to enhance the effective oversight of fuel quality at service stations, promote sustainable business practices with an eco-friendly oil pipeline transportation system, and encourage measures and innovations that deliver benefits to customers. OR’s achievement in winning the award reflects its commitment to conducting business in accordance with established standards and its continued cooperation with the Department of Energy Business. This achievement underscores OR’s commitment to supporting the efficient and sustainable development of the energy sector, particularly the fuel business, while strengthening consumer confidence in fuel quality.
