Application for LPG Dealership Type: LPG Service Station

“Special Quality with High Heating Value, Clean, Simple Combustion, and Ease of Use”.

1. Description of land for use as site

1.1 Areas in Bangkok : The lot size is at least 1 rai, with 40 meters in width and length.

1.2 Areas in Bangkok Metropolis and perimeter and provinces: The lot size is at least 2 rai, with 60 meters in width and length.

1.3 Distance from existing OR’s LPG service stations: As suitable for market conditions.

2. Description of site

2.1 Next to a highway, public road or public way with a minimum width of 15 meters.

2.2 At least 50 meters from an LPG-bottling plant and at least 200 meters from an embassy, consulate, educational institution, hospital, theater, religious site, archeological site or stadium.

2.3 Distances from the ingress/egress points of proposed site:

At least 50 meters from the opening of the traffic island (U-turn), water drainage, or road embankment. Exception is made to sites located in Bangkok, Mueang Pattaya, city municipality, town municipality and other local municipalities established under specific laws.
At least 50 meters from the beginning of a curved roadway. For sites located in Bangkok, Mueang Pattaya, city municipality, town municipality and other local municipalities established under specific laws, the ingress/egress points must not be located next to such curve with less than a 500-meter radius, and a 1,000-meter radius for others.
For sites located in Bangkok, Mueang Pattaya, city municipality, town municipality and other local municipalities established under specific laws, at least 30 meters from the beginning of a curved junction and at least 50 meters for others.
At least 50 meters from the “begin bridge” point and “end bridge” point of a bridge with slopes on either side greater than 1:50.
At least 30 meters from the nearest railway
At least 10 meters from the nearest LPG service station site
The ingress/egress points must be located neither near the vertical curve of the roadway with slopes on either side greater than 1:25 nor at the roadway with slopes on either side greater than 1:25. If the roadway has either side of its slope ranging from 1:50 to 1:25, the vehicle ingress/egress points must not be located at the vertical curve of the roadway and must be at least, for the site located in Bangkok, Mueang Pattaya, city municipality, town municipality and other local municipalities established under specific laws, 80 meters from the beginning of the vertical curve of the roadway and 150 meters for other locations.

3. Description of investment under OR’s standard

3.1 The land for use as site of the service station: The applicant must own land rights, either as the landowner or as a long-term lessee.

3.2 The applicant must be solely responsible for all construction costs.

4. Investment: LPG service station

4.1 Investment in an LPG service station is worth about Baht 20 million (excluding land cost, land fill, and compaction).

5. Benefits for service station dealers

5.1 Design service for the service station free of charge

5.2 Consultancy on business operation and problem-solving.

5.3 Supply of supporting material/equipment for service station launching, such as logo boards

5.4 Training for all personnel.

5.5 Advertisement and special campaigns for OR’s products throughout the year.

6. Supporting documents for initial consideration

6.1 Completed dealer application form

6.2 Photographs and map of the land for use as site for the service station

6.3 A copy of the land deed, front and back (registration contents), in original size

6.4 Certified copy of identification card and house registration of the applicant and the owner of the land

6.5 A copy of the certificate of juristic person registration issued within the past 6 months, with objectives covering LPG service station operation

6.6 Bank account confirmation letter

6.7 Letter of consent of the spouse to the proposed business (if any)

6.8 A copy of identification card of the spouse (if any)

Note: All the mentioned above documents must be duly certified.

7. OR’s initial consideration process

OR will consider an application for service station dealership based on the market condition of the area, LPG demand volume, area, existing LPG network, and other relevant factors. The applicant will be informed of the initial outcome within 3 months after receipt of completed documents.
